I wear my fair share of eye makeup. I find makeup remover rather expensive and not absolutely necessary in removing the makeup. I would suggest Vaseline (Petroleum Jelly) or baby shampoo. Baby shampoo is very gentle on the eyes (It's made for a baby, after all) and it really does take the makeup right off. Many suggest baby oil. I find it too oily and it gets in your eyes way too easily. It will remove the makeup, though.

Vaseline is rather effective, as well. Rub it inbetween your fingers and apply to your eyes. (Them being closed, of course) Remove with a napkin or a damp towel. Be careful, it's rather difficult to get out of your eyes. All suggestions cost less than three dollars. Makeup remover costs $7+

vaseline. sounds weird, but it works. just put it on your eyes and rub it off with a tissue.

get like a tissue or a q-tip and run it under your eye...if that doesn't work you might want to get it wet
