Default Which liquid foundation is best for oily, but dry skin with uneven tone and mild

acne? covergirl or maybelline Hey everyone. I am 17 and so of course my skin isn't perfect. I have some redness and a few pimples now and again. My concealer and powder are perfect, but I need some advice on foundation!

I currently use Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation which I love, but it dries out my skin a bit.
So I'm looking for an OIL FREE LIQUID FOUNDATION.

something relatively cheap and available at like target, walmart, walgreens, etc.

I have a fair complexion, and I am quite afraid of looking orange, which tends to happen with liquid foundations on me.
does this mean the shade I bought is too light??

Please help! Which oil free liquid foundation should I go for?

thanks a bunch

i use maybelline age rewind foundation, it firms your skin and keeps it looking young, has suncreen in it, and covers really well, the shad i use is classic ivory (light #2). i ahve fair skin when i dont tan, you could also go to a dept store for foundation advice if you are unsure of the color you need. most dont charge you to give advice unless you buy the product. i have oily/dry combination skin and this works well on me. otherwise if i have more funds available i use Clinique, they have awesome products and is cheaper than others like estee lauder and eliz arden. clinique also has a really good acne soap that i use everyday. it lasts a little while and helps make your skin look and feel better.

both are cheap and aren't high quality skin products. go with bobbi brown, chanel, dior, estee lauder, lancome, or clinique

If you're 17 you shouldn't be wearing foundation. It's for people who are over 40. Just stick with your powder and concealer and have a bit of moisturizer. You don't need to be spending all that money on makeup you dont need! Instead of foundation, maybe try a bronzer? Its gives you a more natural glow.

Maybelline Pure is what you want. It's a liquid foundation that's made with 50% water--completely oil-free. This foundation looks completely flawless and never cakes. Because it's 50% water, it doesn't dry out skin. It never looks too obvious, because it has sheer-to-medium coverage.

For reference, I have combination skin-- oily nose and forehead, but dry cheeks, and redness above my jawline.

You have another Maybelline foundation, so you know these foundations are ranged somewhere between $4-$10 bucks and are readily available at your nearby drugstore/target/walmart!

Like you, I have a fair, warm complexion with yellow undertones. I use Light 02 and it's a perfect match for me! If you're cool-toned, I suggest odd numbers like Light 01 or 03.

If you tend to look orange, that means either 1) the foundation color sucks, or 2) you picked a shade that was too dark for you, or 3) you're cool-toned and picked a warm shade. To check if you're cool-toned or warm-toned, check out the color of your veins on the inside of your wrists. If they're more blue than green, you're cool-toned. If they're more green than blue, you're warm-toned.

I got my Maybelline Pure liquid foundation for $3.99 on sale! It's a blue tube with a gray screw-on cap.

Edit:

Private, I beg to differ. Many low-end brands are just as good as, and even better than, high-end brands, in my opinion.
