I think it would be fine, but since the purpose of foundation is to even out the skin tone and provide a base for makeup, you may look a bit pale because it's covering the natural coloring of your cheeks. You may just want to add a touch of blush or bronzer, just so your face doesn't look washed out.

i used to use powder all the time, and it didn't last very long, so i started using liquid. liquid lasts a lot longer and, if you blend it right, looks much more natural. make sure you're not using your fingers to blend. use a sponge & blot it onto your areas (i do it like this...forhead, both cheeks, down my nose, and on my chin). then blend lightly upward so you can make sure to cover all your areas.

You can do whatever you want =) I usually wear foundation and then a finishing powder. Or i use a powder foundation. If it looks too dark, you probably dont have the right color. drug store makeup colors dont usually look natural so go to the makeup counter -- theyre worth every penny! =)
