Yes but you need to make sure to first moisturise and that you use a good brand of powder foundation.

in the summer time when im looking for something lighter i only use a powder. mac mineralize skinfinish natural. otherwise i usually use mac satinfinish with only a bit of skinfinish over it to set it.

it looks good, never turns flaky. i also moisturize (like you always should) and apply a primer then concealer)
