Default Oily skin;; Mineral Powder? Foundation?

OK, I have oily skin. I was going to just buy mineral powder for cover upp, but I think I still need some sort of foundation to cover up blemishes. What would yourecommendd?

Everyday Minerals, try their matte and intensive foundations. They have free samples you can try and go on their forums for tips about dealing with oily skin, the women on there are great. Also they have face powders that also would be helpful. I do a face powder (start to finish rice powder), my concealer (also everyday mineral and it covers all my pimples even the really red ones), then a light layer of their semi-matte formula foundation and then another layer of start to finish powder.

It looks and feels light but covers great and controls oil.

Liquid foundation is best for oily skin.
I would suggest buying a matte foundation and applying a loose powder to keep shine away.

With a quality mineral powder you shouldn't need foundation as well, maybe a little concealer for major blemishes. Mineral makeup is good for oily skin as it doesn't clog your pores (which is how pimples form).

The above tips about skincare regimes are good also.

Get a sample of the bisque concealer, the oil control mineral powder, and the Hollywood foundtion from LA Minerals. The samples are only like $1 and they ship them free

i have oily skin as well. first thing to do: make sure you have a good skin regimen. wash, toner and moisturizer. i use a primer, concealer and then mac's mineralize satinfinish with spf, and mineralize skinfinish natural to finish it off. i love the mineralize skinfinish! i dont use the satinfinish in the summer because i want my face to be lighter. if i want a loose powder to finish it off i use their loose beauty powder. but they have a loose blot powder that would probably be better for oily skin. im interested in buying it.

btw they also make the skinfinish in a duo..so the natural and a hilighter..i don't find it worth it because i have alot of other hilighters and for the amount of money im spending i want the natural more. but thats just me. if you find you use the natural and hilighter often..then go for the duo
