I recently bought MAC studio liquid foundation. It works well, but I don't think I apply it properly, I use a sponge, but alot of it ends up in my hairline and eyebrows. After I apply it, should I top it off with a translucent powder? Also, I have some red spots from pimples how can I conceal theese well ( I use a concealer, but doesn't seem to reduce the redness much). Thanks.

OMG I USE THE SAME THING! lol. Anyways, don't use sponges, they soak up the foundation ... so basically, you are wasting it. Buy a brush, they recommend it at MAC, but you can even buy one at drug stores, ask them about "QUO". I got mine for $15. You can even apply it with your fingers, works really well too. Wrap a headband around your head, also buy some wipes, wipe it on your eyebrows and lips after apllying your foundation, as well as the hairline too! Baby wipes!
