I bought 2 cream stick foundations (Black Opal brand, similar to MAC's stick foundation). I want to know the best way to mix them to get the right color (other than layering while applying the foundation). i.e. Should I buy an empty jar, and use something to just mix it? Would that work? Thanks.

The best way to mix makeup cream stick, liquid, or cream is to poor or in this case scrape off a little foundation on the top of your hand. The heat from your skin will help the foundation mix with one another more easily and you will get better results. Lesson never use foundation "cold" or straight from the bottle, stick or jar.

I would cut a little chunk off and mix it in a mixing dish/petri dish with the other product with a foundation brush. Once you get to the color you want, you should be ready to apply it.
