How do you apply eyeliner/eyeshadow like this...?

Would you use eyeliner, or eyeshadow; and how would you do it?

Any advice is appreciated

Its for a friends b-day party, we're all going to look gothic. Don't ask, we're just wierd like that lol.

eye shadow for the top lids then a thick coat of eye liner. but that is not attractive please go with something more natural.

well that looks like eyeliner. I think you would have to use eyeliner for eyeshadow because i dont think eyeshadow would get the color. But go ahead and try both their is nothing to loose.
