my features are like my avatar-grenenish/gray eyes, light skin, brown hair. would it look good or tacky? should i just stick to my neutral brown/beige shad?

You would look very good. Just make sure it is the right color of blue. Your shade should be a very light sparkley sheer shade of blue. Also don't forget the concealer under the eyes unless you will have VERY baggy under-eyes. Also you could still do the concealer but have a black or brown eyeliner on top with a dark navy blue (sparkley) or a turquiose (not sparkley) eyeliner half way under your eye that is slightly smudged. Keep it a little sheer.

You may be able to put on a thin layer at the base of your upper lashes and blend it lightly with your neutral colors. A little deep blue goes a long way.

Just be free to experiment. It washes off.

sure. Just practice before showtime. There are many tutorials shown by professionals on youtube. As long as you super-blend your eyeshadow you'll look gorgeous. I go to university so I don't like wearing huge eye makeup, so I do neutral eyeshadows with blue eyeliner and smudge the liner for a softer day look.

go ahead and try it. i think it would look nice on you. just not too blue. maybe a lighter shade of blue would be best!
