I find that most lipstick and eye shadow colors have a tendency to make me look a little cheap or young. Any color recommendations for Asian skin? I have somewhat yellow/orange tinted skin and most colors seem to clash on my skin color.

for sallow sking (yellowish hue), you want to avoid yellow based colors for your eyes. You might want to use a pink-based foundations.
the best colors for your eyes are cool colors- like blues, plums, pinks, .. anything on the right side of the color wheel.

okay, my friend had this problem, asians work best with pinks and nudes, but if you feel compelled to do a red, make sure its the kind that you paint on so that you can mix it with your foundation to give it a more yellow undertone

eyeshadow, i use the almay trio eyeshadow kit.
you probably have brown eyes, so get the purple trio.
and you can also get eyeliner too.
it works so GREAT on me, and makes my eyes look bigger. btw, i'm asian too =D
