...eyeshadow colors should i be wearing? And any tips for putting on eyeshadow or mascara or eyeliner

hey! me too! i think the triple action masacra by sephroa looks great, even tho our eyelashes are already great. and then one of the below:
- bronze.gold eyeshadow
- bronze eyeliner [subtle]
- silver eyeliner [my fav for this really smoky/eye popping look]
- dark turquoise eyeshadow

basically anything but black eyeliner/eyeshadow. makes your face look too dark. good luck!

I have a similiar skintone..

The colors I use range from the gold, burgundy, tan, brown..you know the colors of the sun or that gold summery look...those colors will look natural on you. your skintone would also look nice in pastel colors like baby pink, sky blue, canary yellow. Emerald green would be a great color on you too!!

Asian people tend to have hooded eyelids so im not to sure about the technique for eyeshadow and things like that.

You could also go to your favorite makeup counter and get a makeup application. Ask for a natural look and then have them suggest other colors for an alternative, funky look.

All i have to say is definatly agreeing with Lo stay away from light blue

I'm also Asian with similar colouring. For brown eyes:

- eye brow colour: mahogany, espresso brown
- eye shadow colours that look great: grey, slate, plum, raisin
- eye shadow colours that make brown eyes look sick: brown and green shades
- eye liner colours that look great: graphite, pearl white, dark blue, black
- mascara that looks great: smoke grey, dark brown, black

I don't know if your eyes have very thin eye crease space (mine overlaps on the inner corner of my eye) so instead of the eye shadow going on just the crease (like how other races apply it), I apply the eye shadow on 3/4 of my eye lid.
