I would suggest dipping a eyeshadow brush in a drop or two of water (just a tiny bit) and then swirling it in each shadow in turn. This is also good because say you want the blue to stand out more one day. then you put it in the blue a little then the rest, so each day your eyeshadow can be different!

Best of luck ?

You might want to apply the blue from the inside corner to the middle of your eyelid, then Grey dabbed on the lower eye bone and lid like a small triangle, then combine the mauve with something very light on your hand, mix with Q-tip and apply beneath brow.
The ends of the eyes having the darker shade in a triangular application bring the eyes farther apart and appear brighter.
Hope this helps. One rule of thumb for a smoky eye of any color, never use a color the same as your eye color. I have very green eyes and I use copper, rust, greys and pinks or even facial blush for eye shadows. I never use green. Did as a teenager but I didn't know any better. Actually, rustic shades that glimmer look great on dark blue eyes if not applied heavily,

a q-tip works great for a smokey eye look! don't be afraid to try a blend, instead of mixing the eye shadow before you apply it try using the blue at the corners then fade into the mauve and then the grey! I have tried that kind of thing and gotten tons of compliments! So be bold and give it a try!!!!
