It's OK!!! I'm Asian too... we barley have any eyelids... but their is a way for you to ware fun makeup...i would put eye liner on first.. black or dark brown... but not a lot... apply close to your eye lashes if you can... it helps keep your eyeshadow on...by the way use a brush... a tipped brush, only on top... then i would go with any color your in the mood for.i always put something shimmery around first... something light... just a little past your crease... and blend... then your color... start off with a little but i use my hands... brushes or those padded things carry to much make up!!! Plus it's easier to blend...when your putting on your eyeshadow start inside out... make sure it's blended...you have to do little at a time till you get what you want then start your nest eye... same process! Hope it helps!

I'm Filipino and I have the same features that you described...
I like to wear neutral color eye shadows. I like using browns, and some pinks (not too bright though). Try using light colors on the eye lid and then use dark colors in the crease and bring it up the brow bone. And blend, blend, blend. Use black eye liner on bottom and top lids and then use black mascara. This look should be good for both day and night time. Hope it works for you.

I would go with smokey eyes, which enhance asian features beautifully. You can get a demonstration by watching these videos.

My personal preference is to avoid bright colors like aqua blues and flamingo pinks when it comes to makeup, natural tones are much better- they enhance what beauty you have and dont make you look like a clown or a streetwalker. So no heavy lipsticks, light glosses or chapsticks are good.
