Default Allergic to all lipstick! Help!?

For the past year or so, whenever I have applied any lipstick/lip gloss or even just basic lip balm within 2 days i seem to get a cold-sore like thing above my lip. I know it is the lip stuff that causes it because I haven't had this problem for months but when I used lip gloss a few days ago I have the same problem. I do not actually get cold sores so I am not coming into contact with the virus again from lip gloss I have used before.

This is really annoying me because I can't wear any lip gloss so I would appreciate any ideas.

Hi I have to be carefull on what lip glosses, lip balm and lipstick I use to but I dont get cold sore type blisters my lips just seem to feel all gritty and have little blobs on them that take ages to go away.

The ones Im mainly allerigc to are ones with lanolin in them, and the ones that have the plumping ingrediant in them, so I tend to stay away from these and always check the ingredients.

What makes have you tried ?
