You could use a bit of foundation set with powder to make your lips "pale".. I often to this to "set" my lipstick/liner if I'm using a bright color like RED !

There really isn't a way unless you can make them chapped which feels bad and hurts when they get to chapped. But, you may have to use really white-pinkish lip-gloss that usually can be found at local stores.

I have very pigmented lips as well. I have found that wearing too much facial makeup actually makes your lips appear redder than they are. Since I have cut down, my lips have toned down quite a few shades.

Keeping your lips moisturized by using a good lip balm also helps tone down redness and keep your lips looking supple and healthy. Try Burt's Bees original for a minty tingle that keeps your breath fresh, or Pomegranate to replenish and soothe.
