I always use these steps to prevent lipstick bleeding:
First, use lip balm or chapstick to moisturize. Then, apply a light coating of powder with a makeup brush. Apply your lipliner next, but make sure you fill your whole lip, not just the outer edge. Apply a coat of lipstick, then another light coat of powder. The final coat of lipstick shold be perfect, and last all day. Hope this helps!

Perhaps you're putting too much lipstick on? Try only one moderate application of lipstick after applying chapstick or a similar moisturizer and your lipliner.

yeah try buying a really matte lipstick that sticks on.. put dry powder on ur lips first and then the lipliner .. if u dont want to use the lipliner buy a lip brush and apply the lipstick on the brush and apply it as a liner... after put the whole lipstick on or u can also use the brush to do the rest..

If you use regular lipstick, line your lips first. I'm 56, so I know about lipstick bleeding. I use the 12 hour lipsticks. It doesn't bleed and stay's on all day. You have to keep putting a gloss on so your lips don't dry out.
