Using lipstick gives me white skin on my lips? i want pale lips?

i want pale lips but because my lips dry out a lot i want something that can go over my lipbalm and help my lips well making them pale.
i always get white skin coming on my lips it is horrible, it happens when i put on the lipstics or after a while they've been on. Can anyone suggest anything
or something i could buy from boots to make my lips pale
im going on a date tomorrow so i need it sorted ;x
I've already tried exfoliating with a toothbrush it doesnt work that great
and i need summat for my date tomorrow: ))))

sounds odd, but brush your lips with your toothbrush to get rid of the flakes of skin on your lips! it works

i nw a lip conditioning lipstick costs about £8 from avon
www.avon.uk.com anew lip conditioners in all colours i think its the best . or try boots ask the consultants n they will show u but it will cost quite abit.

I get dry lips too and find vaseline is far better than lip balm - just buy a pot and smooth it on with a clean finger. It makes your lips look paler too.
