...compact, if so where? I'm looking for pepper spray that a girl can carry in her purse and nobody would really know that it's pepper spray, when they see it. It doesn't necessarily have to look like make-up, it could be anything really, just not a pepper spray canister. Also I wanted it to be small, where you could even put it in your pocket if you wanted.

check your local laws first depending on where you are it might be easier to get a concealed carry permit.
the friendly local P.D. can answer your question or better yet a gun store. IMHO cilvilian pepper spray is not that effective.
