I am 18 years of and of Asian decent (Chinese).

Ever since i was in middle school, i have been using drug store brands for moisturizers, cleasers, creams, etc (olay, dove, clearasil, and the list goes on)

I have oily skin, and a bit of acne. it's not major - just a few bumps, and it gets worse when i get my period.. thats when i break out the most. I dont really have a specific problem area, the only place I dont get them is on my cheeks. I get pimples quite frequently though.

i'm looking to redo my whole skin care routine with possibly a skin care system?

I know there's pro-activ but i want to use that as a last resort as i heard 50/50 reviews on it.

Which skin care system do you recommend? I was thinking of AcneFree or Clinique.

clean and clear advantage acne cleanser. also the stuff in the medal tube from clean and clear. i heard that clinique works good but i swear by clean and clear. try the clean and clear acne control kit. if u dont like it id say try the clinique and if u dont like that try acne free and if u dont like that then dang girl you have rough skin!

Clinique = crap. It's only made out to be so great because it's higher-end compared to drugstore skin care products.

i recommend clinique. They have a 3 step system for acne. step 1 is a foaming cleanser. step 2 is an astringent. step 3 is a light moisturizer. It is a tad bit expensive, but I love it and it works well!
