Default Skin care regime for sensitive dry skin that sometimes get's acne?

I have dry sensitive skin, but sometimes on my cheeks I get bumps, which are not hard core zits that pop out or anything, but they're definitely clogged pores (which is what zits are I guess haha) but just in a smaller version... I don't know, they're like whiteheads... on my face... unoticeable from afar, but still..
I really don't know, I've looked this up on the Yahoo message boards; heard St. Ives medicated Scrub and neutrogena is good, but are they too harsh on dry sensitive skin?
Right now I use Dove for sensitive skin non-foaming cleanser and the Body Shop's Vitamen E cream exfoliater. - I've never had a problem with them before, maybe the creams I'm using are clogging my pores or something...
Please help me with my dry skin.. with minor acne problem haha

Never use St Ives scrubs. They are the worst thing you can do for your skin. It's great on feet, not faces. When particles are in a product to exfoliate your face, they are supposed to be processed in such a way that they are smooth. St Ives scrubs aren't and can cause tiny cuts on your skin (seriously, find a high end exfoliating wash and compare the feel to St Ives.). Also, only oily skin needs major exfoliation.
The bumps you are seeing could be calcium deposits or cholesterol deposits, only a dermatoloigist could tell you for sure. You exfolliate, but do you moisturize? If you have dry skin you really need to, it's moistuire that keeps us from getting wrinkles. It could also be the cause of the acne. When we don't moisturize, our skin goes into overdrive prodiucing the oils our skin needs.

Go with Ivory Soap and nothing else for at least 2 weeks, and that means light make up or no makeup, since that can effect your skin. I'm 49, and ladies say I have smooth, beautiful skin, and I use nothing but Ivory. Try to back down from all the other stuff and see what happens. You might be trying too hard, and might end up with nice, smooth, clear skin!
