I read about many skincare products that make claims that they get the gunk...

...out of your pores or open them up? So why is it that even after using those products and squeezing your skin/ doing extractions, you still get enough gunk coming out of your skin? Is there something that would get out the gunk and is as strong enough as if I did extractions on my skin myself (which I know is bad by the way).
