Default I'm looking for a skin care regime for oily, rosecea & acne prone, 45 year old skin.?

I break out like mad every month 2 weeks before my period (all over face, with biggest, angriest zits around chin, mouth and nose). I'm also developing lovely, florid patches of rescea and my skin is always slick with oil (I use blotting papers frequently) and at the same time often dehydrated (!). Any suggestions on a product line, regime, or ANYTHING???

I have oily skin and acne also and this is what I do.

Aloe vera gel mixed with 2 drops of tea tree essential oil works really well and has been shown in studies to improve acne. Doing scrubs is not good for acne at all because it irritates acne so I use warm oatmeal with a little bit of honey to exfoliate which is more gently. A french "green" clay mask works very well also. It removes impurities from deep within and your acne may get worse before it gets better using the french clay. You should try an organic cleanser. (You can get them at a health food store.) I use a herbal astringent recipe from "The herbal body book" by Stephanie Tourles which you can get cheap on half.com. Works really good and is so soothing. Use a oil free moisturizer at might on your face, neck and chest. Try taking vitamins A, E, D, C, B5 vitamin & Zinc. Also eat healthy lean meats, fresh fruits and vegtables. Boxed foods and fast food will make it so much worse!

P.S. Organic green tea used as a toner works amazing also. The oil is almost completely gone after one use!

Here are some links I found at another ?.

Rosacea makes everything difficult. Your breakouts may sometimes be due to that. You need to see a dermatologist, because your skin will be too sensitive to work with otherwise. Then you can work on the oiliness and everything else.
