Default HELP! Can't Get Thick Conditioner Out Of My Hair!!!?

A friend of mine had this stuff called 'SuperGro' conditioner. It was this really thick stuff. She insisted I try it (did her a world of good she says!) So I gave it a go... two days later, I still can't get it out of my hair!
I've tried clarifying shampoos, that Neutrogena anti-residue shampoo, and a home remedy (lemon juice/apple cider vinegar concoction,) and though these helped, I still can't get rid of it. What else can I try, short of just cutting the whole thing off?

just keep shampooing and rinsing over and over again. When you are in the shower and your hair is wet, comb it. This may make it rinse out easier.

girl, i have been there lol. i am a beauty school student, and they dont teach you this there, but, its one of my lil secrets. go to your kitchen and get some dish liquid. the best to use is lemon. because it gets any greasy residue out of your hair, but whateveryou have is ok. see i use it once a month becuase where i do sooo much to my hair it gets so much build up. but if you have "joy" brand use that. i swear you will totally be thanking me. let me know if it works.

i dont know why it got like that maybe you added too much or it was old b/c if tried it myself and never had that problem. you should buy a deep conditioner to help you out.
first you take a shower and wet your hair for at least 5 min. and brush it in the shower than apply clarifying shamp. and let it sit for a few min. then wash it out then get out the shower and apply the treatment (a good pricey one that really works dont go for the cheap ones or oils they dont work)dry your hair a bit than when its semi wet apply the deep cond. and let it sit in your hair for about 2-3 hours and apply a bag over it

Well, when I was 14 I got the grand idea to color my hair red with cherry kool-aid.

My mom was mortified and took me to her hairstylist friend. She told me to use Tide laundry detergent and it worked!!!

So before cutting it off, try the Tide.
