Default Can I use shampoo on my hair if it is straight permed and the shampoo says safe...

...for color treated hair??? I got my hair permanently straightened and my mom bought me shampoo. On the bottle it says safe for color-treated hair. I was wondering if that was safe to use on my hair cause when it says that it means it won't react to chemicals or can I only use products that say safe for permed hair???
