I was wondering how long can I leave a conditioner in my hair that is not a leave in. What will happen if I leave it in for too long?

i do it all the time, whe i run out of leave in,
i use my orignal conditioner,
and nothing bad happens,
dont use to much that its visible in your hair,
it has to have a nice thin coat on your hair,
than leave it in has long as you need it to be,
but when it starts to dry out is when you need to wash it out!

Um as long as you want really..I think the longer its stays in the softer it will get...

i think you can leave it in as long as youd like. rinse after about 7 minutes if you want a long time. you wont get hurt if its in for too long. just maybe itll be a little greasy on top later.

Well when I shower I usually wash and condition my hair first. After I put in the conditioner, I wash my body and shave my legs and when I'm done then I wash out the conditioner.


OH and you're not supposed to put conditioner over your scalp just on hanging part of your hair!!

Like an hour, nothing really as long as u rise it all out.
