Default help finding a good shampoo?

I have thick long hair and highlight my hair blonde. I am having trouble finding a good shampoo and conditioner. My hair tangles very easily and poofs out as it drys even if I blow dry it. I've tried quite a few but don't get the desired effect. I've tried nexxus and it makes my hair oily as does redken and it breaks my skin on my back and shoulders out. Paul Mitchell does kinda work but it seems to weigh it down too much. I've even tried cheaper things like sunsilk and pantene and they seem to work but make my scalp itchy. I need help, I appriciate any suggestions and thank you in advance

I received good advice regarding shampoo and conditioner from a stylist working at an Ulta store I shopped in while visiting the States. So that may be a good place to start. I have sensitive skin as well, but if I wash my neck, shoulders and upper back with soap after I've rinsed my hair and put it up in a towel to dry, I don't have the problem of break-outs after using a moisturizing shampoo/conditioner. Just a thought.

Where I live in the UK has extrememly hard water full of minerals/lime and it has dried out my hair something terrible. The stylist recommeded Redken All Soft Shampoo and conditioner. I also stopped blow drying for the most part (only my bangs and roots). Before I blow dry, I use a few drops of Neurogena's Triple Moisture serum. My hair is now soft but full. Best of luck!

I really like Nioxine. It cleanses your scap and it tingles. It cleans deep down to the poors and helps remove the dead hair. It makes your hair really healthy. Use the conditioner with it and you'll love your hair. It's a little weird at first, but if you commit to using it for 1 month you'll notice a big change.

FYI- I don't work for Nioxine. I just love that shampoo! You can order it at drugstore.com or get it at a salon.
