Default How can I get the most out of my hair conditioner?

I was wondering how people got their conditioners to work best for them...

Leave the conditioner in and put a shower cap on. After about twenty minutes rinse with cool water. That will close the hair cuticle and seal in the conditioner. For deeper conditioning sit under a dryer, and also it never hurts to use a light spray leave in conditioner. Biolage leave in tonic works good for all hair types and is a light weight conditioner.

Make sure your hair is pretty wet when you apply it; it will spread more evenly throughout your hair. Rinse most, but not all of it out, then blot your hair of excess moisture instead of squeezing, rubbing or twisting it. If you have long hair, twirl it on top of your head, then wrap the towel around it, to keep the hair a little warm plus keeping the moisture in the hair instead of absorbing out into the towel.
Let your hair sit this way until you are ready to dry and style it.

I leave it on, wrap my hair in a warm towel from the radiator and stay like that for an hour.

Then I wash it out thoroughly otherwise it will make ur hair greasy.

Your hair will be so soft and smell nice.

p.s it doesn't have to be a leave in one, any will do, i love herbal essences coz of the smell.

When you apply the conditioner, be sure to emulsify it between your palms (mix it real well).

After applying, comb your hair through and clip it up and apply a wet hot towel around your head, or even just a hot washcloth (depends how long your hair is). Leave it on while shaving your legs, or whatever to pass the time away. When the towel gets cold, run it through hot water again, squeeze and reapply on your head. Keep on for at least 10 - 15 mins.

Rinse with tepid to cold water to close the cuticle. Rinse completely or your hair will be too flat and weighed down.

Good luck!
