Try Selson Blue...that Is The Best. It Used To Be Sold By Prescription. Now It Is Available Over The Counter. Also, Tea Tree By Paul Mitchell Is Very Good If Your Problem Is Caused By Dry Scalp.

No. There are basically several different types of dandruff shampoo. It's not the bottle or the scent that treats your condition; it's the chemical.

The best thing to do is to get one shampoo with each type of "active ingredient" and then switch shampoos frequently.

If you stay with one ingredient/shampoo always, your scalp will soon adjust and that one shampoo will no longer work. Switching shampoos sort of keeps your scalp off balance so it's susceptible to the ingredients.

It's also good to give your scalp a rest; use a dandruff shampoo every other day ... or two days on and one off.

When I was in hair school they told us that Head and Shoulders shampoo was high in alkailne and that you can actually perm your hair with it if you leave it on for a few hours! I would look into a product called Nioxin.

One hippy told me that using rice vinegar is actually really good for curing dandruff. And hippies would know!
