I've gotten answers to questions such as, "Use a clarifying shampoo once a week," but I haven't heard of such thing. Any links would be appreciated.
What are clarifying hair products?

Yeah, it's basically just a deep cleaning shampoo...if you use a lot of styling products you can get build up...(like dirt and grease)

Using a clarifying shampoo deep cleans your hair and washes away all the crap.

And you can use it everyday if you want...its not like a weekly ritual. But I would suggest this if you use a lot of products on your hair.

Try reading a few bottles on the shelf. There are plenty that are labelled as clarifying. Clarifying means it will strip/clean out any excess dirt and product. You could just use sunlight dish soap, it will wash out just about anything.

I like EO clarifying shampoo, ABBA Molasses Clarifying.

Another cool product is Enjoy Clarifying spray. You spray it on and work in into your wet hair before using your regular shampoo.
