Default Does hair that has been highlighted/streaked merit its own need for

shampoo/conditioner for colored hair? If that isn't the case, is it recommended so that the colour lasts longer in one's hair?
That is to say, if one needs to bleach their hair in order to achieve said highlights/streaks, is it recommended that one uses a shampoo/conditioner for coloured hair in order to preserve the colour and hair follicles?

Yes, it is recommended if you want your colour to last longer; so that you don't have to redo them as much. Salons have very professinal shampoo that works very well. I hope that you enjoy your highlights=]

I lightly highlight my hair and it responds better to shampoo and conditioner intended for colored treated hair.
