Default What shampoo is the best for giving your hair alot of volume??

I tend to have pretty flat and straight hair that could use extra volume and body. What shampooand/ or conditioner is really good for giving your hair lots of volume and body?

Sunsilk Anti-Flat and Herbal Essences Body Envy both work pretty well. I have really fine, flat hair too. I switch those two up every few days, seems like if you switch shampoos every so often they work better.

I like pantenes volume shampoo and conditioner, I usually blow dry my hair upsidedown, then use a curling iron at the roots to lift and spray hairspray into the underneath of the hair. It sounds like a long process but only takes about 5 minutes when I'm groggy in the morning.

You won't get volume from a shampoo. Shampoos clean, conditioners condition, styling products style. But, in the spirit of the question, you don't want a moisturizing shampoo because that will be heavy and if you can help it, you don't want to condition much either. Most people over shampoo and WAY over condition their hair. Sending tons of product--literally--down the drain. I always tell my clients to focus their shampoo at the scalp (where you really want it clean) and their conditioner at the ends (where you need it). And be stingy! A little goes a long way. As for styling products, I recommend Amplify Root lifter Volumizing spray and Redken Clean Lift styling gel. Of course, apply your styling products like your shampoo and conditioner--that is, where you want it. That would be at the scalp and work towards the ends. And In my opinion, when it comes to styling products, more is more! And lastly, when you blow dry, you need to encourage volume so try to blow dry straight out from your head. Flipping your head upside down works well. Good luck!
