Default What kind of product/spray should i use before straightening my hair?

I've heard that if you apply some product to your hair before you straighten it, then it reduces damage and frizz. Does anyone know a good brand? Thanks

What you heard is correct. What you want is a smoothing spray or heat protectant. I use Matrix sleek.look smoothing system. It's an iron smoother spray. You can find it at most any salon and it goes for around $15. More pricey than some, I know, but it's the real deal. Not only will it reduce damage and frizz, it'll leave your hair shiny when you're through.

thats true. any kind of product you put in your hair before straightening will reduce the damage.. for me i use sunsilk de-frizz ( its for curly/wavy hair, but after straightening, your hair feels really soft!!) and have had good results so far!

You can use GHD heat protection spray. It protects your hair from getting frizzy and dried out.
