Take small sections and hold them tight as you tease the hair down. It will be hard to get out but I put conditioner on mine before I wet it and then rinse out the conditioner and wash hair as normal.

hold hair straight up in small sections.
with a comb...called a rattail comb...start at the top..and move comb down through length of hair.
keep going until entire strand of hair is teased.
do entire head.
now backcomb ( meaning to smooth lightly over teased sections)
with bobbie pins..mold hair into style you want..pin in place and spray with hairspray .
to keep the style for a few days..you can do what women in the 60's did..they wrapped their hair with toilet tissue to protect the style while they slept.
teased hairstyle will last for 5 days.
you ahir will be very knotted...
this can be easily untangled with conditioner.
have fun!!

You need to spray a section at a time and run a comb "up" the hair strands to get them full. Once you've "teased" out your whole head, gently run the comb over the hair, just barely grazing it into shape...spray the whole head and you're good to go. Afterwards use a handful of baking soda with your shampoo to get out the buildup and use a good conditioner to release the tangles.
