Default Will spraying the "beach wave" products dry out/damage your hair?

I want to have beach waves/piecey waves, and i've heard of using products like bumble and bumble or something like that. And they are like, salt sprays or something. Will they dry out/damage/make hair brittle?

is that kinda like sun in, or a touch of sun? because those you just spray in your hair before you go in the sun and it turns you hair blond in the sun and it does make it very dry and nasty

I've used the Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray and I liked it...it didn't damage my hair at all.
