Default What's the best (and cheapest) hairspray to use?

I was thinking of buying a hairspray today but I don't know which ones are good for my hair. I have black hair so I'm looking for the ones that don't flake.
I also prefer the ones that will make my hair kinda smooth and not too stiff.

Please help. Thank u.

Suave works pretty well. I have short black hair and I spike it. but if you have the money the Got2b glued freeze spray is pretty good, but you have to comb it to get the stiffness out.

I use Aussie hairspray and I love it! It smells great and holds your hair the entire day. It costs about 5 dollars

I love to use Dove hairspray (flex hold), it keeps the hair
very soft and doesn't leave that white residue, and it cost
less the $5.

???

Most hair sprays you find at Walmart or the Drugstore are pretty cheap. You could also check at Sally's they sell some that are not as expensive and they would be able to tell you what kind of hold they have. I buy my hair spray at the salon so I really am not that familiar with the ones at Walmart etc.,

Best of Luck ~~~

Also, you might want to use a good clarifying shampoo or just mix a big tablespoon of baking soda with your normal shampoo and wash your hair really good then rinse the rewash with just the shampoo and then conditioner ...this will take away any buildup you may have on your hair ...this might be why you have flaking .....If you use alot of hair products it is good to do this type of wash maybe once every week or two ...
