Does anyone know some kind of product I can use in my hair other than hair spray/gel?

I find that my hair is very stale and unnatural looking when I use hair spray. Friends have suggested cooking oils and other things. I just dont know If I want to walk around with that in my hair. Any sugestions?

pomade works like a gel but leaves your hair soft not stiff. try citre shine's pomade.. it also leaves your hair smelling nice.
