is there hair styling products that wont unstraighten hair but still give it a messy look... my freind said cheese or something idk... help

depends on how your hair is like. normally if you straighten your hair, put some hairspray at the roots. preferably the kind that holds and sprays a continual mist. spray it a few times (only on the roots) & using a comb, brush downwards. this is called teasing or backcombing. keep repeating this process on your whole head & your hair will look very volumized & messy. you might want to pat it down though because you will look very crazy if you dont. also, you might want to try wax. gatsby hair wax is the best 8)

dont ever put cheese in your hair. it will just stink and be clumpy and gross looking.

Don't use gel when you straighten your hair. That will make it very thick and... "greasy", plus weighed down. Look at a local beauty supply store for "texturizing" product. They give you "texture" to hair, which means is gives definition and a "wild" look to it.
