does hair gel or glue affect brain cells?

I have been wondering, do you lose brain cells if you use hair gel or hair glue (same as hair gel accept stronger hold)?

I was wondering this because I have heard rumours and as well I figured since hair dye affects brain cells, why wouldn't hair gel or glue?
