Pretty sure its not the suns heat that activates that; its the UV rays.

No this will not work, lemon juice will take quite awhile to lighten your hair, but it is evetutally effective. As a child my sister is a blond, so as a child my mother would was my sisters hair with chammomile tea, as she said she was told this helped lighten blond hair. My sisters hair would always get dirty blond in the winter, but it was always a really pretty blond in the summer, so I guess it worked. But sunlight is your best bet, if you don't want to actually chemically lighten your hair.

I believe it has more to do with the suns rays than with the heat. Worth a try though.

I use lemon juice to lighten my red hair, and it works like a charm. good luck.

It does work a little, but if you go in the sun it will lighten a lot more than a hair dryer.

try buying sun in, its a lemon based spray for your hair, and u just spray in and go outside, it will lighten u can also blow dry.. but that will make your hair brittle

Just go to a salon and have it done professionally. Doing it with lemon juice is not even worth the hassle. When experimenting tooo much you usually end up damaging your hair. and for what "bad highlights??"
