any type of frizz serum or cream will usually work. I prefer John Frieda. To prevent as much damage, i let my hair air dry about 3/4. Then i blow dry the damp hair straight hair to minimize the damage of the blow dryer. (I also straighten it, so the trick helps.)

i just bought this heat protection spray that i got at sally beauty supply and it works wonders! it leaves my hair super soft and shiny. its called "silk elements 'megasilk' heat protection spray". it protects hair from blowdryers, curling irons and flatirons. it comes in a beige bottle spray with red font and the cap is bronze

Kenra Thermal Styling Spray works for me. It was recommended to me by another Yahoo member and she was right. It's great! It can be used on your hair before you start drying it or it can be sprayed onto dry hair before you use a curling iron, flat iron, or hot rollers.

I bought a large bottle of it at Ulta for $12.

I have seen another spray by Thermasilk at Target. It was$3-$4.
Good luck!
