I am african american and my hair is not so nappy, but it aint strait!! I want a flat iron the can straighten, and curl while keeping my hair shiny and soft. I have read the reviews on all these irons,but still dont know which to choose. Help???

Go with the CHI. I have had mine for nearly 3 years, it is the best flat iron I've ever owned. It works great to this day! I bought mine at Trade Secret. I know it's pricey but it's worth it! Hope this helps!
