I have baby fine hair. The only way I can get it to hold a curl is to put a gel on it & either air dry or use a hair dryer and then add strong curls with an iron and use a heavy duty hair spray from a salon.(because the saoln hairspray leaves the hair soft with movement)

Hair spray is essantial but not the only thing. Make sure to finish your style with a quick COOL blow dry on low. This sets the hair. Also try to remember not to touch your hair during the day/night. Your hands will spread your natural scalp oils down the hair shaft leaving it too shiny and weighed down. Not to mention what your hand might have on it. Also keep in mind that when you see celebrities, they are, for the majority, still photos. Even their hair styles are bound to fall by the end of the night. Keep a cute clip in your purse to pin your hair up later on. Oh, VERY important, always remember when using hot irons, blow dryers and ever straightners to use a heat protectant spray. They are very inexpensive but are key to protecting your hair from becoming dried and damaged. VO5 makes a cheap one that i find to be quite satisfying.

The key really is lots of hair spray. Spray your hair that you are about to curl first and then put the curling iron on it so it can lock in the curl. Then when you are done w/ all your hair spray all your hair again w/ lots of hair spray. Sebastian has a good holing spray that is not hard, But I always use Redkens Spray starch on my clients for curling and flat ironing. Good luck. Hope I helped. spray some spray gel in your hair before you curl it, and then after it is curled lightly mist it with hairspray (don't get too much or it will weigh the curls down).

They use alot -- ALOT -- of styling products. If you were to touch their hair, it wouldnt be very soft. Pretty, but not soft.
