I have straight asian hair. Sometimes, I want to spice it up and put some volume in it..like curls or waves. Can I achieve this look without the use of curling irons? Is there some sort of hair product that I can use?

Lol my best friend has this same problem. When u get out of the shower towel ur hair so that it isn't dripping wet. Then put either gel or scrunching mouse in ur hand and scrunch it throughout ur hair. If ur hair doesn't curl easily i would use both. U might try to grab a fist of hiar (to scrunch it) and hair spray it too. Then blow dry it as ur still scrunching it (grabbing fist fulls of hair) I haven't seen anybody this hasn't worked on before so i hope it works for u as well! Good luck!

When my hair is damp i smooth in some aero volume mousse into my roots and the ends of my hair and then i section my hair out and blow dry using a large barrel brush. After i'm done blow drying i take sections of my hair and back comb it and spritz some hairspray onto it and when i'm done i run my fingers through my hair so it doesn't look too volumized.

For curly hair without using a curling iron i use heated rollers instead, works a treat and looks so much more natural and easier to use. Or i use the crazy huge thermal rollers in my hair to create big waves and lots of volume. Hope that helps hun!
