Use special shampoos that protect your hair against damage and special serums/sprays to protect your hair before you straigten it.

Well if you have a good quality flat iron and use a good heat protector I don't think your hair should be that damaged ...I know if you flat iron it too much and have a cheap flat iron it could cause really bad damage. So you have a few choices ...you could invest in a really good flat iron. You can go to this website and read about them and find one that is good for you ....

Okay well i have the same problem i straighten my hair like everyday to, but you can use a certain spray before you straighten it that will help or use speical shampoo

go to any drugstore and look for sprays that protect your hair from the damaging heat of a flat iron. i like the one by redken, it works really well. also alternate between using a hairdryer and a flat iron. use a large round brush and point the hair dryer down so that it flattens your hair. also do a hot oil treatment once a week to help cut down damage!

I think I typed this somewhere else in the thread but you can use Sabino for your hair. I have curly hair and I flat iron it with Sabino and it keeps my hair protected and I don't even have any split ends. I just love it.
