Yesterday I was at the mall and a woman at a booth was selling flat irons. I already have a great one so i was not interested but then she showed me how to curl with it. Can someone refresh my memory on how to do it?

It's kind of like a curling iron, you just twist your hair around it, or to curl the ends out instead of taking the iron straight down your hair, lift it out and up a little, to add a little curl at the end.

get a good grip at the root and just barely bend for a slight bend - or twist all the way around as you slide the iron down for a tight or springy curl.
