I burnt my hair w/a flat iron, would it be okay if I wated until the end

of July to get a trim? I get my hair cut every 2mos because I want it to grow and the next time to get my hair cut would be the end of July. Would my hair be okay if I let it go that long?
I don't want to get it cut now because it took a year for my hair to touch my back and I'm scared if I get it cut now, I'll have to start all over.
