Default Does hair putty/styling paste ruin flat-ironed hair?

I have with me some "L'oreal Paris New Studio Overworked Hair Putty" subtext "Styling Paste"

I'm wondering if using this will unstraighten my flat-ironed hair? I really want to style it kind of messy and disheveled, which it can't do on it's own (The person who flat-ironed it did a good job!)

If this will completely curl up my hair again, is there any other product, which I can find in any target/walmart, that will work for me?
