right now i have shoulder length hair and this conair infiniti 2 inch straighter and it doesn't straighten my hair much. i'm looking for a straightener that doesn't burn my hair, and i've heard that a CHI gets really hot. i have wavy/soft hair.

CHI works the best! Just be sure not to use it on the hottest setting if you straighten your hair more than 3X/week.
