I just wanted to know because I like to flat iron it but I want to know what damages the hair most.
Okay so to clarify things up a bit.
My hair is super wavy and i don't like it.
I usually air dry than flat iron.

I obviously know that heat does damage.
At least I don't dye it and all that stuff.
And I don't like to put anti-serum and whatever because I don't like to put chemicals in my hair.

it is heat. heat does damage.

ithink the blow dryer is worse because you have to go over it so many times and a flat iron is a shorter amount of time that you're putting the heat on your hair and it last longer. if u wrap ur hair around your head at night with duckbill clips and tie it down with a net scarf than u can keep it for up to 2 weeks. im sure u'll want to wash ur hair before then though. but not everyday maybe every 2-3 days depending on how oil ur scalp gets. also, u should put a few drops of some very light protecting hair oil on ur ends while its wet, let it air dry then flat iron.

im not completly sure on this one but i guess flat ironing it would be worse. It will make your hair dry unless you put a good syrim in it afterwards. Well hope thats helpful! cheers! xox
