Default Does anyone have any tips on properly managing and caring for curly hair?

I have thick, long, curly which is kind of difficult to manage. Whenever I blow dry it I just end up tangling my hair and causing major breakage. My hair is now very uneven- I really don't want to cut it right away. I would like to grow all of it even.
Also if anyone knows of any different, cool hairstyles for curly hair that would be great.

My sister also has curly hair. She uses PANTENE curl revive spray which she says keeps the curls defined and helps them keep their shape. She never blow dries her hair, she always lets it dry naturally. Depending on how uneven your hair is you might want to consider cutting it so it looks normal or just growing it out and cutting it later. Layers are good if your hair is uneven.

My sister ties her hair up in a high ponytail. She keeps the front of it straight pulled back (not the messy look) and the back bit curly which looks very nice. You can put a soft headband (not the hard, plastic ones) on to give it a more sporty and accessorised look.

hi! try using herbal essences mousse, i have very crazy curly hair and it keeps it beautiful.
to make it grow you can eat lost of jell-o LOL or something like that.
You can also try mixind anticonceptive pills smashed and shampoo, just dont let it touch anything else that your hair, cause it will make grow hair on undesired areas.

I have the same problem. After going everywhere to seach for the perfect solution i found a oil called PINK OIL its hard to find. I live in austrlia and i got it from a african american store in town. Its not expensive and strengthens the hair and keeps in looking wet and shiny. Also the hairdressers can 'Relax' it which is a chemical put in the hair that makes it not so fuzzy it is about $50 and lasts 3 mths

My hair is wavy/curly and it frizzes a lot. I live in a humid environment which doesnt do much to make my hair more manageable

I dont even blow dry at all. I think that even with product it makes it look worse.

I use a lot of CHI silk smooth stuff and let it air dry. Chi's expensive, so I am on the lookout for something that works as well and is cheaper. I also spray in conditioner as well.

As for hair styles, for a long time the hairstylists always wanted me to layer my hair. It always looked the same, no matter how they cut it and it would always look horrible when it started to grow out. I have been growing my hair out to one length for about 2 years now and I like it much more. It's way more managable than it has ever been.
